With a strong presence in the UK and plans for expansion into larger retail markets across the UK and Europe, this fast-paced business focuses on Jersey, Woven, and Knitwear. They are looking for a driven and experienced professional with a proven track record in growing key accounts and fostering strong client relationships.

You'll be fully supported by a talented in-house team across Design, Merchandising, Sales, and Admin, empowering you to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK and or Europe, ensuring alignment with the company's product range and strengths.
  • Build and execute effective sales strategies to secure high-profile retail clients.
  • Collaborate closely with partner factories in China, India, and Italy to create product ranges that meet client needs.
  • Manage key accounts from the initial pitch to successful onboarding.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing significantly to the company's growth.
  • Monitor and manage costs, ensuring they stay within budget limits.
  • Work closely with the design team to develop products tailored to client demands.
  • Negotiate pricing to achieve margin and profitability goals.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive experience in multiproduct ladieswear, specializing in Jersey, Woven, and Knitwear.
  • Strong background in business development within a supplier setting.
  • A proven history of building and maintaining relationships with buyers and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think quickly and strategically, ensuring on-time delivery with a high standard of quality.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
