We're currently looking for a Business Development Manager for the Practice Sector on a full-time basis. This position sits within the UK Employer Business Development Team. We are flexible on the location of this role, and it could be based out of our London or Glasgow office, with working from home options available.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to contribute to the development of engagement plans for client partnerships, to deliver against agreed KPIs and promote a variety of ACCA offerings.

The Job

Reporting to the UK Practice Lead, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

Identifying and progressing opportunities to grow ACCA's business through the Practice client vertical ensuring a clear and mutually beneficial proposition
Working with relevant internal stakeholders to develop and deliver a plan of business development activity for a designated vertical
Using agreed criteria, identifying and proposing target clients on an understanding of potential contribution
Developing and managing strong relationships with clients in order to build ACCA's ecosystem and to deliver agreed KPIs and outcomes
Planning and actively managing multi-level relationships for existing and potential businesses
Promoting the ACCA qualification and cross-selling products and services to partners, encouraging take-up through presentations and other activities
Working with organisations to ensure readiness for changes to the ACCA qualification and other products and services
Supporting businesses with ACCA processes including Approved Employer accreditation in order to develop engagement and improve performance

The Person

We're looking for someone who:

Understands economic and market trends, business sector developments, competitor activities and ACCA's product and service offering
Can report regularly on progress through the appropriate reporting mechanisms
Actively supports the wider work of the local market and contributes to the improvement of local procedures and systems
Has demonstrable experience in business development and business-to-business relationship management in the Practice sector
Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term, high quality, trusted relationships up to and including board level, through networking and prospecting with strong influencing and negotiation skills
Is highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and happy to work towards KPIs
