Job Title: Business Improvement Change Lead

Salary: Up to £50,000 commensurate with skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Strive for improvements in our Productive Utilisation and capture Productive Utilisation (PU) data via time and motion studies on navy ships and within workshop environments
- Analyse PU data and other data sources from key toolsets e.g. SAP to highlight the key areas for improvement within Ship Repair
- Create and present business cases for improvement projects as directed by problem analysis and solution development
- Use APM methodology to manage the entire lifecycle of the project from concept to handover and closure
- Produce and maintain a stakeholder management matrix and communications plan
- Co-ordinate and deliver formal training sessions with a variety of stakeholders
- Monitor and manage stakeholder adoption maturity through ADKAR approach
Your skills and experiences:
- Excellent Communication skills with the ability to present business cases for improvement projects directly to stakeholders and Senior Management
- University Degree or Equivalent in relevant field of study (preferable) Engineering
- APM Project Management Qualification or relevant project management experience (preferable)
- CMI Change Management Practitioner (accredited by APMG) or equivalent (preferable)

The Business Improvement team:
Set up to deliver the FMSP KPI for Productive Utilisation, the business improvement team is a multi-disciplined team of analysts who are passionate about delivering improvement projects which deliver tangible, practical and powerful changes for all of Ship Repair. By seeking feedback and analysing real data from the working days of our industrial workforce, the Business Improvement team aims to create a new culture of change where we listen and find solutions for the issues that really matter. This role will give you the opportunity for senior management interactions and network building, as well as opportunities to visit other BAE Systems sites.
