Buying Assistant (up to £28,500)

About the role

As a Buying Assistant, you will be working as part of a small buying team that is responsible for the sourcing and management of all the covermount gifts in our Youth & Children's division. Your role will be to support the buying team with a focus on all the various administrative and operational tasks involved in the buying process.

As a Buying Assistant you will;

  • Manage all administrative elements of the department, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. This includes system management, ensuring all these are correct and up-to-date.
  • Be responsible for sample management and product storage.
  • Assist with the collation of sustainability and stock holding data.
  • Be the day to day contact for all the various internal and external interfaces that the role demands.
  • Manage the relationship with our warehouse and wholesale partners and ensure all the associated systems are kept up-to-date.
  • Support the Buying Team with new product development/range planning.
  • Cover for other members of the Buying team when required.

  • Have an interest and/or experience in buying or merchandising.
