As Riverside continues to grow, so do our opportunities. We are now looking for an ambitious and dynamic BYD Sales Executive to join our brand-new site at BYD Wakefield and help us drive the success of the BYD brand, the world's leading EV manufacturer.
As a BYD Sales Executive, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, promoting and selling the full range of BYD electric vehicles. You will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing brand at the forefront of innovation in electric vehicles, offering both the newest technology and sustainable driving solutions to our customers. You'll help customers find their perfect vehicle, guide them through the purchasing process, and showcase the benefits of BYD's innovative electric vehicles.

Established in 1982, we are an independently owned business which prides itself on outstanding customer service in our award-winning dealerships located in Doncaster, Wakefield, Barnsley, Hull and Leeds. Our dealerships are recognised by their respective car manufacturers as offering the highest standards of customer service and care.
As authorised Volvo, SEAT, CUPRA, Honda, BYD & Used Car dealers we have specialist Sales Executives, Aftersales Advisors and Technicians to assist our customers with any query that they may have.
We constantly seek to attract highly motivated individuals that want to work as part of a team and share in the commitment, responsibility, accountability, and discipline required to achieve our Vision.
You will:
- Build strong relationships with potential customers, identifying their requirements and providing tailored solutions. Guide them through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to the delivery of their new vehicle.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full BYD electric vehicle range, including the latest models, features, and technology, to deliver expert advice to customers.
- Manage the sales process from start to finish, including pricing, contract negotiations, and completing all necessary paperwork to secure sales.
- Work closely with the dealership's sales team and management to contribute to the success of the overall sales strategy.
- Work to meet and exceed personal and team sales targets, driving growth for the BYD brand within the dealership.
- Maintain regular follow-up with customers after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure the showroom is well-presented with BYD vehicles ready for demonstration and customer viewings.

- Ability to listen and assess customer needs effectively.
- Negotiation and persuasion skills to close sales.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while meeting individual sales targets.
- Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
You will need to hold a full UK driving license.
