Position: Care Assistant

Salary: £12.00 to £14.00 per hour

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time

About the Role

Care Individual is currently looking for experienced and knowledgeable carers to look after patients in their own homes within the East London area. As a part of the team, you will be delivering specialist care to service users with complex long-term conditions.

Requirements

A Must Have For This Post:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the complex care sector
  • Good communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • Have compassion, empathy, and patience
  • Are trustworthy, honest, and respectful
  • Demonstrate understanding of self-centred care
  • Treat others with dignity and respect
  • Help vulnerable people live as comfortably as possible
  • Assist patients with grooming and personal hygiene
  • Monitor clients' health and wellbeing
  • Maintain and update reports
  • Perform daily tasks that may be required, such as light housekeeping
  • Support social interaction
  • Support other team members in emergency situations

Shift: Varies depending on service users' needs, from 30-minute calls to 12-hour shifts or live-in care.

Overtime: Contract given after 3 months if shown level of credibility and loyalty to the business.
