What you will do:
- As our Cash Management Specialist, you will operate as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide consultancy services to the Commercial business, our customers, and our interdependent teams for our suite of transactional banking products.
- Support Cash Managers and/or Cash Management Director to project manage switching and complex onboarding process. You will project manage the implementation of all cash management solutions for our new to Metro Bank Commercial customers, establishing strong open communication channels and a robust onboarding process.
- Proactively advise and implement the appropriate Metro Bank services to fulfill customer needs.
- For customers looking to move to Metro Bank, you will support the Cash Manager/Cash Management Director to complete in-depth scoping activities to ensure we deliver tailored solutions, optimizing their cash management processes and improving transaction handling.
- Support business development/networking events and attend initial customer prospective meetings to present Metro Bank's offering with a Cash Manager or Cash Management Director.
- Deliver training to our new to bank Commercial customers and, if required, existing customers on effective use of our Products. You will also deliver training to our frontline colleagues on cash management services to support referral opportunities, set up processes, and know how to escalate.
- Bespoke pricing - you will support the Cash Manager or Cash Management Director with any tariff negotiations with a good background in competitor awareness and TCF (Treating customers fairly) principles to ensure we are presenting a competitive proposal for the customer that is commercially viable for Metro Bank.
- You will be the face of Metro Bank for all customers looking to move to us and be a daily point of contact to our customers & colleagues, always ensuring a professional service.
- Support the bank's growth plans and be expected to achieve objectives set by the business in respect of income, right first time and customer experience e.g. switcher volumes, referrals & service metrics.
- Support annual review of bespoke tariffs and income leakage initiative.

What you will need:
- Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank, and all our stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of commercial business banking.
- A good working knowledge of our cash management products & services - both domestic and international.
- Excellent communication skills combined with experience of presenting to stakeholders.
- Experience of driving project delivery and managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent organization and planning skills, combined with a meticulous attention to detail.
