Location:Cardiff
Salary:Up to £45,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement:Hybrid (mostly remote)

Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal or Litigation Executive to join a highly regarded Motor & Casualty team, assisting on high-value Large & Complex Loss claims. The role offers exposure to catastrophic injury cases, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, and amputations, working closely with senior lawyers and national insurers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting a Partner and other fee earners in handling complex large loss cases.
  • Supporting on claims involving serious and catastrophic injuries.
  • Managing legal documentation, case preparation, and client communications.
  • Providing clients with updates and ensuring efficient case progression.
  • Conducting legal research and assisting with strategic case planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Law degree, LPC, or GDL qualification.
  • 6-12 months of experience in a claims handling role, ideally within defendant large loss.
  • Knowledge of insurance litigation and personal injury law is highly advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
