Job Title: Category Finance Analyst - Home Care
Business Function: Finance
Location: 100VE
Job Purpose
Based in London (100VE) and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, role of Category Finance Analyst is to help develop and drive the financial strategy, business and innovation performance of multiple Home Care brands and be involved in developing and evaluating financial feasibility for innovation projects across categories.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Partner with Brand Manager/Directors in business modelling, competitor benchmarking, shadow P&Ls.
- Identify value opportunities that require a particular intervention / project support from Finance.
- Partner with Categories to conduct portfolio reviews.
- Develop and lead business cases for BG led innovations, in collaboration with global brand teams, as well as the counterparts across CMI, R&D and supply chain globally and locally.
- Coordinate innovation post launch performance conversation together with innovation champions and BU finance, drive interventions if needed.
- Lead various projects across categories, such as Media Sufficiency/ROI, Competitor Analysis, Budget Management etc.

- Cross functional business team in BG central and BUs. (CMI, supply chain, R&D)
- Finance business partners
- Global Home Care finance team including performance management, other category finance, supply chain, competitor intelligence, etc.
- BU Home Care Finance teams.
- Global Innovation FET team.
All About You
Qualification/Experience
- Strong financial academic background.
- Relevant experience in finance business partnering roles.
Knowledge and Skills
- Business and financial acumen with a proven track record of delivery.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and bias for action.
- Advance Excel skills. Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders.
- High degree of flexibility and ability to quickly understand new topics.
- Accountability and responsibility.
- Strong prioritisation skills.
