We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Category Manager to join our dynamic team which is launching a new service for Amazon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving collaboration across business leaders, analyzing market insights, and ensuring the highest quality of inputs for decision-making on Selection and Pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Leaders:
Work closely with every business leader across the organization to gather key inputs and insights. Facilitate discussions and ensure alignment of priorities to make informed selections. - Market Insights Analysis:
Continuously track market trends and competitor activities to understand market needs and opportunities. Use data-driven insights to provide recommendations for strategy on selection & pricing. - Ensure High-Quality Inputs:
Ensure the best-in-class inputs are utilized for selection processes. Develop and maintain frameworks for gathering, validating, and incorporating input from various stakeholders. - Cross-functional Coordination:
Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring smooth communication and progress toward strategic goals. Maintain timelines, oversee progress, and report to senior management on program deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, product management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management, especially in collaborative environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Setup the right frameworks for deciding the right Selection & Pricing Strategy.
- Work with multiple internal stakeholders to operationalize the Selection & Pricing strategy.
- Setup best in class Cataloguing practices to help consumers make the right choice.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of with Excel experience.
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
