Our client is a product-based SaaS company with a portfolio of 10+ in-house digital B2C products. They are fully independent - no external clients, no investors, and no startup risks. The company builds, launches, and grows its own products - they are their own client.

The team includes 90+ professionals working remotely across 20+ countries throughout Europe and the Middle East. With ambitious growth plans for 2025, they aim to launch up to 10 new products beyond the MVP stage.

To support this expansion, the company is looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology team. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to shape and execute innovative, scalable technical solutions that align with the company's long-term vision.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

• Set a clear technology vision aligned with the product's objectives and the company's mission.
• Collaborate closely with department heads and other stakeholders to ensure technological solutions meet business needs.
• Inform and influence business strategy through proactive discovery and implementation of new technologies to gain a competitive edge.

Team Development

• Lead recruitment and management of high-performing IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Develop and nurture a team culture that values experimentation, continuous learning, and adaptability.

Project and Product Management

• Create detailed timelines for the development and deployment of technology services, ensuring timely delivery and quality outputs.
• Partner with product and project management teams in managing the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business needs and technological capabilities.

Operational Excellence

• Supervise system infrastructure, ensuring high functionality and efficiency.
• Develop robust quality assurance and data protection processes to maintain the product's integrity and security.
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets, steering technology towards both efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Professional Expertise
• 6+ years in a CTO or equivalent leadership role with a proven track record in scaling technology teams and products.
• Hands-on experience developing SaaS projects with a focus on security, scalability and reliability.
• In-depth knowledge of our technology stack: Node.js, NestJS, SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js), Kubernetes and AWS
• Experience working with remote teams, preferably in a startup environment.

• Educational Background
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferable.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Adept at strategic thinking and translating business goals into technological solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive technological analyses and research.

• Communication
• Excellent communication skills with the proficiency to communicate technology strategy to a variety of stakeholders, including partners and investors.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
