Cipal Schaubroeck - Database Expert

As a Database Expert at Cipal Schaubroeck, you will play a key role in connecting development teams to our database infrastructure. You work closely with functional analysts, developers and architects to ensure that our database solutions function optimally and comply with the latest technological standards. You are co-responsible for designing data models and make proposals and draft guidelines for ensuring database security in consultation with the SOC and DPO. You focus on improving Performance through monitoring and tuning. Together with the app teams, you make improvements to SQL queries.

Expertise

• Thorough knowledge of database technologies such as RDBMS, NoSQL, Datawarehousing, NewSQL.
• Experience with databases: Oracle, Informix, MongoDB, MariaDB or SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of security & governance in line with ISO standards.
• Skill in performance tuning, parameter tuning on database side but also Sqlquery tuning on application side.
• Project experience with a steering and advisory role, without leading.

You have a background in database management and at least 5 years' experience as a DBA. Your analytical skills will ensure that the database performs optimally and meets the team's requirements.
