We're looking for a bright, ambitious individual to join our London Client Services Team.
Your role OverviewBrand Potential Ltd. is a full-service brand agency; delivering insight, strategy, innovation, design and PR, globally, to help brand owners unlock the potential of their brands.
Our Consulting business, of c.50 colleagues, is looking for a pro-active Executive to join the team, based in our London office (Covent Garden). The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work with an impressive array of local and international clients, mostly operating within the FMCG, personal care & media & tech space.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone, early on in their career, to gain invaluable, foundational experience within the world of Brand Consultancy and the potential to move into a specific area or discipline, as relevant.
For the first 9-12 months, the successful candidate would join the Client Services Team in a Client Services Executive capacity. This role is focused on the commercial operations of the business, as well as the day-to-day running of projects; liaising with clients, internal colleagues, suppliers and partner agencies to ensure seamless delivery; maintaining the highest quality of service, at all times.
After 9-12 months in the role, the Client Services Exec placement could be extended into a permanent position or the individual could choose to join a different team or business unit - based on overall performance, passions & strengths, as well as the needs of the business. Initial placement as Client Services Exec; joining the Client Services Team (team of 4-5 individuals) but working in collaboration with the wider Brand Potential Consulting team - c.50 colleagues.
You will be involved in projects from the start (project briefing) to the final debrief and beyond; learning and contributing at each stage of the process. You will be developing your knowledge of the business and building essential skills that will be valuable for this role and future opportunities.
Supporting the team with insight / innovation / strategy / design projects:
- Helping to shape research & delivery to meet clients' needs
- Managing clients' expectations in relation to project deliverables, timings and costs
- Co-ordinating and managing project kick-offs, recruitment, fieldwork, logistics and any stimulus / materials required for consumer research projects
- Attending events & meetings for projects, where suitable
- Setting up consumer panels / fieldwork software and managing tech
- Set-up, material generation and logistics / travel arrangements for meetings, workshops and events
- Desk research, panel moderation, note-taking, contributing to analysis sessions etc.
Monitoring Costs & Commercials:
- Building relationships with suppliers and partner agencies (internationally)
- Obtaining external supplier, associate and freelancer costs
- Monitoring commercial costing, delivery efficiency, cost control and profitability of projects
Supporting internal working practices:
- Supporting with workload management and resource planning
- Ensuring all deliverables are thought-through, presented clearly and comply with our templates / brand guidelines
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with internal and external protocols and working practices (e.g. GDPR)
- Contributing to the smooth running of the office and business
Make a valuable contribution to client relationship building and account management:
- Keeping CRM up to date
- Sharing posts on Linked-in / Instagram etc.
- Inputting into account planning and review sessions
- Suggesting and owning initiatives to support better ways of working across the business
- Grabbing hold of all opportunities to learn, try new things and develop new skills
- Work alongside other team members, with different skills and backgrounds, to build your breadth of knowledge and working practices
- Identify gaps in skillset / development areas and initiate actions
- Attend, contribute and apply learnings from 'Brand Potential Enhance' - our internal Learning & Development programme - or other training opportunities
After 9-12 months as a Client Services Exec, there will be an opportunity to extend / make this role permanent or to explore another Executive position within the business (based on individual performance, passions & strengths and the needs of the business)
Subsequent exec roles could include placements within the Local or International Consulting Teams (focussing on insight, innovation, strategy and design), or adjacent business units within the Brand Potential pillar (e.g. PR & reputation, Media etc.). Placements could also extend to other functions, such as finance, HR, marketing, operations etc.
