Job Description
Clinical Director Children's Complex Care Provider £70,000 to £80,000 per annum Remote - ideal locations are London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridge and Buckinghamshire. Must be a Registered Children's/Paediatric Nurse. TRC is working on behalf of a successful provider of specialised complex care for children in London and the surrounding areas, in the aim to source a Clinical Director to oversee the clinical governance of each package of care. Job Summary: Reporting to the CEO, the Clinical Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing the clinical operations of our complex care home care services. They will ensure high-quality, person-centered care is delivered in compliance with regulatory standards, drive clinical excellence, and support service development. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all services comply with CQC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee quality assurance, audits, and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide strategic clinical leadership to enhance service delivery.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead on safeguarding, clinical risk management, and incident investigations.
  • Supervise and support clinical staff, ensuring ongoing professional development.
  • Develop training programs to enhance clinical competencies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, commissioners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service users and families.
  • Represent the organisation in clinical meetings and forums.
Person Specification:
Essential:
  • Registered Nurse or healthcare professional with relevant qualifications.
  • Proven experience in a senior clinical role within home care or complex care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
