The Opportunity

Founded in India, Kama Ayurveda offers high quality, beautifully packaged, Ayurvedic and natural beauty and wellness products. The brand creates the complete natural remedy by using original, time tested and balanced prescriptions. Our Ayurvedic treatments are 100% natural with no artificial colours, fragrances, animal ingredients or petrochemicals. The ingredients are prepared from plants and herbs collected from natural habitats.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Ecommerce Assistant to join our dynamic, fast-paced team at Kama Ayurveda. This individual will be a key player in driving our digital presence by ensuring the ecommerce platform reflects our brand's commitment to quality, design, and customer experience. As part of our Ecommerce team, you'll support the execution of sales-driving initiatives, website optimization, and content management, all while embracing the opportunity to contribute across multiple facets of our digital business.

This is a fixed-term contract for 3 months.

What you'll get to do

Merchandising & Content Strategy:

  1. Own the end-to-end digital content strategy to ensure the ecommerce platform is aligned with brand aesthetics and seasonal campaigns.
  2. Optimise product listings, landing pages, and homepage merchandising to drive sales and create a seamless user experience.
  3. Collaborate with design and marketing to create visually-rich content that speaks to the brand's refined, artisanal identity.
  4. Manage stock visibility on the site, communicating regularly with supply and customer service teams regarding product availability and customer inquiries.
  5. Execute and manage promotions and campaigns across all digital channels, ensuring alignment to business goals.
  6. Work with tech and creative to improve site functionality, test new features, and make quick adjustments as needed.
  7. Use web analytics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, applying insights to enhance the customer journey and increase conversions.
  8. Contribute to the development of the brand's digital roadmap.

Trade & Analytics:

  1. Assist with weekly performance reports, analysing key metrics, identifying trends, and recommending strategic actions to improve sales performance.
  2. Help execute trading plans with innovative and creative ideas, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  3. Stay on top of competitor strategies and ecommerce trends to ensure the brand remains a leader in its category.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate closely with the broader team to execute digital strategies.
  2. Support customer service teams on product accuracy, digital sales issues, and maintaining an optimal user experience.
  3. Act as a bridge between creative, technical, and business teams to ensure successful execution of all digital projects.

  • Analytical & Results-Driven: Ability to analyse performance data, generate insights, and translate those into actionable business strategies.
  • Passionate About Customer Experience: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing an exceptional online experience that reflects the brand's values.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience : Experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field is highly desirable. Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
