The role
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Commercial department and from time to time personal support to the Commercial Director, Head of Commercial and Chief Surveyor.
Duties include:
- Process payments, purchase orders, and invoices using IFS; manage cost recovery and rebate agreements.
- Maintain the Approved Trade Contractor Database (ATCD), manage approval processes, and support contractor onboarding.
- Collate and distribute commercial reports, track approvals, and manage key documentation.
- Coordinate diaries, organise meetings, handle correspondence, and maintain office systems for Chief Surveyor, Head of Commercial, Chief Estimator and commercial teams.
- Produce monthly reports and schedules for management, board and PLC meetings.
- Assist surveyors, estimators, and site-based teams with procurement and cost management tasks.
Experience required
- Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within the construction or property development sector desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with internal teams and external contractors.
- Advanced IT proficiency, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and experience with Asite, SharePoint, 4Projects, IFS desirable.
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling commercial information.

The standard default full-time working hours in the office are 8am-5pm with core working hours 9am-4pm.
