The role: Commercial and Insights Manager (Marketing Systems Manager)

Location: London or Leeds, UK

Hybrid; ideally two days a week on-site but this can be flexible

Monday to Thursday 9.00-5.30, Friday 9.00 to 4.00.

About the role

The Commercial and Data Insights Manager plays a key role in helping the business understand the impact of marketing activity and how it supports commercial growth. Sitting within the Marketing team, this role focuses on tracking, performance reporting, and surfacing insight that supports campaign decisions and long-term strategy.

About you

  • Background in digital marketing performance, campaign tracking, or commercial insight roles.
  • Confident with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager, with experience managing tags and event tracking.
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce) and other systems such as Looker, Hockey Stack, and PowerBI.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead how we track marketing performance, including UTM structure, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager setup.
  • Manage incoming requests for reporting, dashboards, or support with tracking - prioritizing and coordinating delivery.
  • Produce regular marketing reports for playback sessions that clearly explain what's working, what's not, and what to change.
  • Work closely with Heads of Marketing and Sales Business Partners to provide insight that supports marketing and campaign planning and strategy.
  • Keep benchmarks up to date for key marketing metrics, helping teams track progress and set goals.
