Job Description

Interim Commercial Lawyer

Location: Sheffield 0009 C2CA / 1

Pay: Up to £37.00 per hour PAYE depending on experience

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working

Please note: The pay rate is provisional only and the ad will be amended with the confirmed rate once received.

Key Requirements:

Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister
Experience of using up-to-date and authoritative legal knowledge to support delivery of a complex operation/function/service.
Experience of providing effective legal support for operational activity or service undergoing change and challenge.
Demonstrable commercial background, with credit given for the breadth and depth of experience that a candidate can demonstrate.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting commercial contracts and other commercial documents.
Providing advice on existing and proposed commercial arrangements.
Providing advice relating to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and subsidy control.
General commercial legal advice.
Commercial dispute resolution where necessary (pre-litigation).
