Position Description:

Sheats & Bailey is seeking a commercial litigation associate attorney. Our practice serves all aspects of the design and construction industry. We represent public and private owners, developers, design-builders, contractors, suppliers, design professionals, contractor associations, and all parties in the contracting chain. Within the industry, our practice covers construction project management, litigation and arbitration, contract negotiating and drafting, HR, corporate, labor relations, and personnel law. We represent the parties in all types of contracts, litigation, claims, real estate, HR, labor, and design malpractice litigation. Hybrid work available together with office presence.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must be admitted in New York State and should have at least 5 years of experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience and book of business.

1. Research and writing
2. Depositions
3. Discovery
4. Mediation and arbitration
5. Motion practice

The associate will work with our senior attorneys and train and grow in all aspects of commercial litigation.
