Key Responsibilities

DNEG Animation is a leader in stylized and realistic effects focused on a variety of animation projects. At DNEG Animation, compositors work closely with VFX, 2D supervisors, and leads to compose multiple CG, MGFX, and DMP elements that will complement the visual effects of a cut. The work is dedicated to the integration of complex CG, which means that compositors must be comfortable working with full CG and hybrid cuts. Our compositors are part of daily client reviews and sessions and follow production methodologies to develop creative solutions to problems while performing all aspects of VFX Design composition.

Job Requirements

1. Experience in the VFX/Animation industry as a composer of high-end projects
2. Good knowledge of the VFX/feature film animation pipeline
3. Good knowledge of handling and working with fully CG shots
4. Experience with Nuke
5. Good knowledge of projections in Nuke (and any 2.5D work)
