The Opportunity Radar Healthcare's new Consulting Lead / Manager The Consulting Lead / Consulting Manager is responsible for the leadership, development, and operational management of the Consulting team within Radar Healthcare's Professional Services organisation. This role ensures that the team delivers high quality consulting engagements, enabling customers to adopt best practice configurations, optimise their use of Radar's solutions, and maximise long term value.

The Consulting Lead / Manager is accountable for defining and embedding standardised consulting methodologies, driving process improvements, and ensuring alignment with Radar's broader Professional Services and business strategy. This role also plays a key part in pre-sales activities, SME engagement, toolkit ownership, and customer training & adoption strategies.

This role ensures that the Consulting team follows structured methodologies for product configuration, technical integrations, data analytics & reporting, while aligning closely with Project Management, and SME team members.

The Consulting Lead / Manager will be responsible for resource allocation and consulting delivery, ensuring that engagements meet commercial, quality, and efficiency objectives. The role includes direct people management responsibilities, including mentoring, coaching, and supporting the growth of the consulting team. The consulting team will include all Product, Technical and Analytics specialisations required for full end to end delivery of the Radar application.

What you'll be doing to make a difference:
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Consulting team (Product Consultants, Technical Consultants, Analytics Consultants), ensuring a high level of skill and execution across all areas.
  • Define and implement best-practice consulting methodologies, ensuring repeatability and efficiency in engagements.
  • Define and implement the customer training strategy, including class based training and online/CBT material.
  • Support the enablement of training & adoption to become a revenue generating service for Radar.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring team members stay up to date with product capabilities, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Drive knowledge sharing initiatives, ensuring structured onboarding and development programs for new and existing consultants.
  • Ensure the Consulting team operates in alignment with Professional Services processes, project governance, and delivery standards.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer implementations, guiding the team on issue resolution and strategic decision making.
  • Own and manage consulting capacity planning, ensuring resources are optimally allocated across projects.
  • Ensure that consulting deliverables align to contracted Statements of Work (SOWs), mitigating scope creep and ensuring commercial viability.
  • Support the team in conducting customer workshops, product configurations, data analysis, and analytics/dashboard customisations based on business needs.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that all consulting workstreams are properly planned, tracked, and executed within project timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to governance processes, including PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to ensure effective tracking of billable utilisation and capacity planning across the Professional Services function.
  • Lead on scoping, quoting, and commercial estimation for Services engagements, ensuring accurate effort assessments and feasibility.
  • Work with Sales, Partner Managers, and Pre-Sales teams to scope consulting engagements and ensure the feasibility of proposed configurations and analytics solutions.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses, providing expert insights into Radar's consulting capabilities and methodologies.
  • Ensure that the Consulting team contributes to improving standardised implementation toolkits, best-practice configurations, and reusable analytics templates.
  • Provide structured feedback to the Product team on areas where configuration flexibility, technical enhancements, or analytics capabilities could improve Radar's overall solution offering.
Your journey so far
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or an equivalent implementation role within a SaaS or technology organisation.
  • Proven experience leading technical or product consulting teams, ensuring standardisation and repeatability of product configurations and analytics implementations.
  • Strong expertise in system configuration, workflow design, and technical integration of SaaS products.
  • Experience in leading customer facing workshops, guiding clients on best practice configurations and analytics adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive level decision making.
  • Experience in defining and implementing structured consulting methodologies, ensuring efficiency and repeatability.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with a data-driven approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Pre-sales experience, including involvement in scoping, quoting, and solution design discussions.
  • Familiarity with PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools, forecasting models, and consulting best practices is highly desirable.
