Job DescriptionLead the Way in Cloud Migration Risk Management as Our Cloud Proactive Interventions Manager at Unit4

As part of this ambitious transition, we are seeking a Cloud Proactive Interventions Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring that cloud migrations stay on track and meet project timelines.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of identifying and mitigating potential risks before they disrupt the migration process. Your expertise in risk management and problem-solving will enable you to proactively manage issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive timely interventions to ensure the success of each migration. You'll work closely with technical and project teams, ensuring that any issues are addressed quickly and effectively, helping to deliver seamless, on-time cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Design and execute proactive intervention strategies to reduce disruption to migration project timelines.
- Frequent monitoring of migration progress to identify potential risks and issues in migration projects before they impact project success.
- Provide regular updates on intervention actions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other CMOO roles to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Document and share learnings from interventions to drive process improvement.
- Ensure compliance and best practice for cloud migrations.
Key interfaces and ways of working:
- Work closely with project teams to identify and address risks early.
- Interface with the Cloud Migrations Operations Director to escalate critical issues.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Change Manager to ensure interventions are communicated effectively and lessons learnt are embedded into process changes.
- Collaborate with technical team to implement necessary solutions.
- Continuously refine and update intervention strategies to address new risks and challenges.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Strong risk management and problem-solving skills in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks in complex migration projects.
- Familiarity with specific challenges and risks associated with large company transformations to a SaaS platform.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities to diagnose complex migration issues, anticipate future issues and make informed decisions with limited time.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure risks are clearly understood and interventions executed smoothly.
- Problem-solving skills to quickly identify emerging risks and collaborate with teams to drive optimal outcomes.
