Contract Manager

This company is a key player in the Belgian energy sector, committed to innovation and sustainability. To support a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, we are looking for a Contract, Legal & Insurance Manager to oversee contract management, legal compliance, and governance within an EPCM project finance structure.

Parttime - 16months!

Your Role:

• Oversee contract execution and ensure compliance within the BESS project
• Manage insurance aspects and provide legal support to stakeholders
• Negotiate and draft contracts, amendments, and legal documents
• Handle contractor claims and disputes in collaboration with the DDA team
• Ensure corporate governance compliance, including shareholder agreements and Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements
• Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and legal advisors
• Report to the Senior Legal Manager on risks, progress, and legal matters

Your Profile:

• Master's degree in Law
• Experience in contract management or legal advisory roles, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of insurance and risk management in construction is a plus
• Independent and structured way of working, aligned with internal teams
• Fluency in English, Dutch, and French (spoken and written)
