Contracts Manager - NEC £75k

Client: Cutting-edge Renewable Energy organisation

Location: Hybrid working and in Berkshire

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Renewable Energy organisation, supporting cutting-edge projects for the design, construction, and installation of Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage infrastructure.

This role will be a key player in the roll-out of the NEC contract form, driven by the EPC Director. You will draft NEC contracts, working closely with the Project Managers to support the scope and delivery of pre and post-contract award management.

You will set strategy, negotiate, and drive the execution of contracts for EPC equipment (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).

Requirements:

1. Ideally, confidence in drafting NEC contracts; will also consider JCT or FIDIC.
2. Strong Infrastructure / Construction contracts experience within a multi-project, multi-discipline environment.
3. Excellent stakeholder engagement ability, with the gravitas to present convincingly and achieve buy-in from Directors.
4. Advantageous would be any Energy, Construction, Solar PV, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) experience.
