Controls Engineer

A pioneering company operating within the renewable industry is seeking a Controls Engineer to lead, design and optimise the performance of their reactor and systems.

This role involves taking technical ownership of their PLC control systems, which will manage the reactor and other critical components. You'll be instrumental in integrating these systems into a streamlined solution for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

1. Design and optimize PLC control systems
2. Implement safe shutdown and ESTOP protocols
3. Develop user requirements specifications and liaise with suppliers
4. Design online dashboards and remote access functions
5. Assist with component fitting and ensure compliance with standards
6. Support operations with fault finding and system performance evaluation

1. Minimum 5 years in engineering; 2 years in controls engineering
2. Proficiency in PLC and HMI coding
3. Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills

This role is paying up to £55,000 plus a generous package to match, including the options to purchase shares, 25 days holiday, 6% pension and more.
