COO/Chief Compliance Officer London

Our client, a renowned family office in London overseeing a diverse range of investment portfolios across various asset classes, products, and global markets, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Compliance Officer to join their team.

• Supervise all legal and compliance issues for the family office.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
• Offer legal counsel on a variety of matters, including investment strategies, transactions, and regulatory concerns.
• Create and execute compliance programs and policies.
• Perform regular compliance audits and risk evaluations.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and external legal advisors.
• Oversee legal documentation and contracts.
• Stay informed about legal and regulatory changes impacting the family office.
• Provide training and support to staff regarding legal and compliance matters.

• Proven experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within a financial or investment setting.
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations and legal frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
