Job Description

A fast-growing observability platform provider is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join their sales team. This role involves managing multiple accounts, driving customer success, and expanding the company's footprint within existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on renewals, cross-selling, and account expansion.

Hybrid role in London

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple commercial accounts simultaneously, developing relationships and expanding the company's footprint.
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities to meet quarterly quota objectives, driving pipeline velocity activities such as customer references, quotes, contract preparation, and execution.
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Strategic Account Executives, and Solutions Engineers to plan and execute complex sales deals.
  • Analyze customer business needs to identify strategic partnership opportunities and develop strategies for customer growth, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Deliver clear messaging and presentations to effectively communicate the platform's value proposition.
  • Manage the renewal cycle, driving customer adoption, executive relationships, and addressing potential threats to renewal.
  • Educate and enable customers on observability and the advantages of the company's solution.
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager role in a SaaS company, with a focus on cross-selling and account expansion.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and efficiency through strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in the SaaS industry.
  • Ability to work 2-3 days per week in the London office.
  • Technical background with 2+ years as a Technical Account Manager is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and prospect new business with decision-makers.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas and driving business in cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Log Analytics/Monitoring/APM and Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure) is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
