Our client is looking for a Corporate VAT Specialist to deal with corporate VAT issues.

The role will be 70% compliance and 30% consulting. Over time, our client will want you to take on more consulting.

You must have the ability to analyze VAT legislation, give guidance, and have a good knowledge of VAT issues.

They will need you to keep fully abreast of statutory VAT changes and HMRC VAT policies.

You will be able to demonstrate good UK VAT technical knowledge, as well as familiarity with cross-border European VAT issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an advisory service to clients
• Assist with research on technical matters
• Monitor wider VAT compliance
• Deal with VAT registrations and liaise with HMRC over VAT enquiries and inspections
• Assist with client disputes with HMRC

Skills required:
