Job Description

The Court of Protection Solicitor will be:

  • Managing property and financial affairs for clients who lack mental capacity
  • Advising clients, their families, and carers on Personal Injury Trusts
  • Handling a diverse range of clients, from children to incapacitated adults
  • Providing professional input and guidance to clients with varying levels of financial capacity
  • Ensuring all legal processes are followed accurately and efficiently
  • Working closely with the Partners in the team

The Successful Applicant

The Court of Protection Solicitor should be / have:

  • A solicitor with 1-5 years PQE in Court of Protection or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of mental capacity law
  • Experience in managing Personal Injury Trusts is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ties to Sheffield
