Credit Controller - 12 month contract

Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a global firm in the heart of Sheffield. This business is operating in 40+ countries and well over 50 offices worldwide.

Due to someone going off on maternity, they're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join the team for a 12-month period. In an ideal world, you will be an experienced Credit Controller who isn't afraid to get on the phone and recover the debt.

What will you be doing?

• Chasing customer payments in line with payment terms to minimise bad debt.
• Handling all interactions received into Credit Control ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved within the agreed service level.
• Looking for process improvement opportunities.
• Working to daily targets set by the Team Leader.
• Working with individual and business overdue debt reduction targets and cash collection.
• Working on customer disputes to help minimise outstanding debt and escalate to the appropriate business owners.
• Creating and categorising outbound service requests.

What skills are we looking for?

• Experience in Credit Control.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to hit targets and KPIs.
