Job Description
Credit Controller - Swindon (Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Company: Leading financial company Location: Swindon (Hybrid, 3 days a week) Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Role Overview:

  • Ensure customers pay outstanding balances in line with agreed credit terms.
  • Report forecasted cash receipts and identify payment issues.
  • Calculate sales rebates and process credit notes.
  • Monitor credit insurance declarations and produce quarterly submissions.
  • Review and complete customer credit applications.
  • Support international shared service payables team with financial queries.
  • Monitor and report KPIs, including days sales outstanding.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties and external audit queries.
  • Involved in AR/Credit query resolution and support process improvement.
Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar credit control role.
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines and manage workloads.
  • Strong communication skills for internal/external relationship building.
  • Basic understanding of financial ratios or credit reports.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and MS Excel skills.
  • Hands-on, adaptable, self-motivated, and confident working approach.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector and knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not essential.
