Job Description

Credit Controller - Swindon (Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Company: Leading financial company Location: Swindon (Hybrid, 3 days a week) Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Role Overview:

Ensure customers pay outstanding balances in line with agreed credit terms.
Report forecasted cash receipts and identify payment issues.
Calculate sales rebates and process credit notes.
Monitor credit insurance declarations and produce quarterly submissions.
Review and complete customer credit applications.
Support international shared service payables team with financial queries.
Monitor and report KPIs, including days sales outstanding.
Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties and external audit queries.
Involved in AR/Credit query resolution and support process improvement.

Requirements:

Experience in a similar credit control role.
Ability to work towards tight deadlines and manage workloads.
Strong communication skills for internal/external relationship building.
Basic understanding of financial ratios or credit reports.
Knowledge of financial systems and MS Excel skills.
Hands-on, adaptable, self-motivated, and confident working approach.
Experience in the manufacturing sector and knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not essential.
