Credit Control Role Overview

NC Associates are excited to be partnering with a leading and growing organisation in Cheadle, South Manchester to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual to join a dynamic finance team in a people-focused business offering great career development. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a key role in managing the company's Credit Control function and maintaining a strong ledger.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively chasing current and aged debt via telephone and email, ensuring prompt payments.
  • Working to individual revenue targets to ensure overall team efficiency.
  • Reporting on ledger balances and providing updates to management.
  • Managing problematic debt, taking necessary action and escalating as required.
  • Query resolution regarding billing errors, working with the wider Finance Team.
  • Supporting cash allocation processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a B2B Credit Control role.
  • A motivated and target-driven approach to debt collection.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Passion for developing a long-term career in Credit Control.
