CT Technologist

AZAD is seeking a CT Technologist for a W2 Contract position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration: The initial assignment length is 13 weeks with a high probability of being extended.

Compensation & Benefits: The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $55.00 - $60.00, plus daily stipends, $156 Lodging and $69 Meals & Incidentals. Weekly compensation (including stipends) is between $2,660 - $2,820. Benefits offered include Paid Time Off (48 hours Holiday and 40 hours Accrued Sick Time), Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations:
   Conduct a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
2. Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation:
   Operate CT equipment and select technical factors. Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time. Document all related data.
3. Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.
4. Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.
5. Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
6. Resolve and escalate complex issues.
7. Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
8. Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
9. Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.
10. Other shifts as assigned and all other duties as assigned.

Diploma in Radiology.
