The role
We are looking for an ambitious and talented customer success manager to work on our best-in-class B2B marketing solution, GlobalData Marketing Solutions (GMS). Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, the role is ideally suited to someone with a marketing background, preferably in the B2B space in a client facing role. You will have experience working with a variety of internal stakeholders across editorial, sales and operations to ensure that your clients are receiving world-class strategic support. You will have content marketing experience and an understanding of digital ecosystems, ideally from an agency background. You will be confident in leading client communications and status meetings, providing guidance on scheduling and content production timelines.
What you'll be doing
- Working within a team, you will be able to project manage multiple accounts across a diverse range of sectors.
- Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to understand their priorities and business objectives.
- Communicate feedback from our clients internally and ensure that work is planned and delivered efficiently and effectively to exceed customer expectations.
- Review top-level campaign performance and discuss results effectively with clients including C-Suite decision makers.
- Understand the editorial and creative production process and the complex requirements of diverse B2B markets.
- Ensure that we are exceeding client expectations, working with sales to monitor retention and maximise renewal rates (KPI).
- Interpret a client's goals and objectives and adapt their marketing campaign accordingly.
- Ensure our clients are our advocates.
- Lead regular client meetings, being the first port of call for all client queries.
- Monitor performance data and produce reports that showcase ROI.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years' of experience in a high-touch client-facing role.
- Experience of working with multiple enterprise accounts at one time.
- Curiosity: you never want to stop learning.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
- An ability to listen carefully and ask meaningful questions.
- A positive, problem-solving attitude.
- A team player.
