Are you passionate about cybersecurity and driven by the opportunity to shape the future of digital protection? We are looking for a dynamic Cyber Security Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Pre-Sales and Technical Authority team.
In this role, you will act as a technical lead on cybersecurity opportunities, providing expert advice and tailored solutions to meet client needs. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver effective cybersecurity strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Cyber Security Sales Lead with key opportunities.
- Provide technical authority for written and formal responses to client and tender opportunities.
- Offer and deliver Technical Account Management, ensuring smooth implementation of cybersecurity services.
- Ensure all sales activities and solutions comply with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for cybersecurity both internally and for customers.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their environments and challenges.
- Translate customer needs into compelling, high-quality solutions, including Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and highlight areas of innovation.
- Provide input to and review statements of work (SoWs), ensuring smooth delivery of customer projects.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of consulting engagements.
- Implement proof-of-concept installations and lead technical solution presentations and workshops.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers, managing escalations and fostering strong relationships.
- Contribute to internal processes, quality assurance, and thought leadership.
- Support Converge's sustainability strategy.
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of security technologies and cloud architecture (Microsoft and AWS).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM.
- Vendor experience/accreditations with Microsoft, IBM, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, and Cisco.
Essential Experience or Skills:
- Pre-sales experience within the cybersecurity market.
- Highly perceptive with an analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to work closely as part of a team.
Desired Experience or Skills:
- Experience contributing to the building of new routes to market.
Job details:
This is a full time position - 37 hours per week. Hybrid
