Contract length: 6 months rolling contract

Rate: £18.20/hour PAYE

Work Hour: standard hours

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Data Analyst working on behalf of a leading Energy services company.

In this role you will be responsible for learning and contributing to the data mining process currently carried out by the team. Some of other duties include;

• To review and implement existing parked ideas relating to process improvement & automation
• To provide support in our Pycharm environment
• To offer alternative solutions and insight to improve the data mining and data accuracy process
• Handling Engineering documents under the guidance of the existing team, to extract key data sets
• Noticing patterns in the data, and understanding how the data mining team use efficiencies to achieve results
• Reviewing and running existing Python code, and improving on this code where possible
• Translating existing ideas into live solutions
• Constructing new process steps to aid data quality, efficiencies in data mining and overall team success
• Handling data in our Snowflake/Mosaic environment

Preferred Skills for the role:

• Experience in Python and VBA is essential, SQL experience helpful
• SAP experience ideal but not essential
• A focussed and driven attitude, willing to be hands on and able to communicate ideas well
• Excellent attention to detail
