Data & Analytics Analyst

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Data & Analytics Analyst for a 4 month contract, remote, with occasional travel to any UK main office.

Purpose of the Role:

The Data & Analytics Analyst will join the Retail Analytics department, a small and collaborative team. This role involves varied work in particular within Customer Journeys and Bills Analysis, deriving actionable insights from data to improve customer journeys.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Data & Analytics Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Analysing data using SQL and Snowflake to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborating in an Agile environment and demonstrating strong stakeholder management.
• Engaging in collaborative calls and discussions to provide operational updates and address challenges.
• Conducting day-to-day analysis to propose improvements in customer journeys.
• Support customer journey management projects.
• Analysing customer relationships to identify opportunities to meet their needs, enhancing customer experiences.

What we require from the Data & Analytics Analyst:

• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Basic Python coding skills for scheduling tasks (desirable).
• Banking experience is beneficial, particularly in customer journey analytics (desirable).
