Data Architect

Our client is on a journey to build out their business wide Data capability, hence are looking to appoint into a newly created Data Architect role in their Glasgow location. You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect to develop a data strategy for the wider business, aligning with their over-arching business strategy. You will work to help the business define their specific data direction, across multiple locations and stakeholders at all levels.

You will take responsibility for Data standards, catalogues, governance and structure as well as implementing data strategies and ensuring the appropriate use/safeguarding protocols for the business.

This role is hybrid on site in the Glasgow area so candidates must be based or be willing to be based in commuting distance for this role.

To be considered for this role, we're looking to speak to candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Specific experience in at Data Architect role
• A solid understanding of data modelling in relation to architecture too (frameworks such as TOGAF)
• Extensive practical experience of technologies across integration & analytics, data sciene, ML & AI.
• Great interpersonal skills and experience working across all levels within a business
• Strong commercial nous; how you can use Data to benefit the business
• Based local to Glasgow for on site work
