Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Bristol/Edinburgh/Leeds/Birmingham/Manchester/Newcastle (Hybrid working available)
Salary: c£80,000 + 10-15% bonus + excellent benefits

Data Architect and Management Consultant Responsibilities

  • Deliver data management, data modelling, and data architecture capabilities across major projects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, consultant, and analyst for data strategy and implementation.
  • Support business development by creating proposals and pitch materials for new data opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed data architecture best practice across the organisation.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing through events, publications, and internal development.
  • Identify and develop ownership of a specialist area within the team's capability portfolio.

Data Architect and Management Consultant Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and delivering data solutions in consultancy or internal stakeholder environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, data models, information specifications, taxonomies, ontologies, and data architecture frameworks.
  • Experience working with digital or data solutions in the built or natural environment - ideally across design, construction, or infrastructure asset management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, geography, data science, business, or a similar analytical discipline (or equivalent experience).
