- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and optimize data models, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance.
- Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance our data infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies ( , SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques ( , Apache Airflow, Kafka).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools ( , Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with machine learning and big data analytics.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for data engineering ( , Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
