Job Description

I am working with a University in London who are looking for a Data Engineer on a 3 month contract basis to implement Microsoft Purview.

Lead on the Microsoft Purview Implementation by recommending and leading the deployment of Microsoft Purview to enhance data governance.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Purview solutions to enhance data governance, cataloging, and lineage.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data management needs and develop tailored solutions.
Integrate Microsoft Purview with existing data infrastructure and tools to ensure seamless operations.
Develop and maintain documentation, including data models, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
Monitor and optimize data processes for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Location: Onsite 2 days per week in central London

Rate: Approx £500 per day

Duration: 3 month contract

Start date: Within 2 weeks ideally/ end of March
