Data Governance Specialist - SQL, Power BI, Data Catalogs

A truly exciting opportunity for a data governance expert to join a group wide, transformative initiative for an international leader in power production.

You will play a crucial role in contributing to the companies ability to leverage data, group wide, with the primary goal of implementing and maintaining the data governance framework, ensuring accuracy, consistency and security of data used to support decision making and regulatory compliance. The role will work within close proximity with the data analytics team and provide real stewardship programs to foster accountability and ownership of data quality.

In order to fulfil the deliverables within this role you will need to demonstrate a considerable amount of experience in data governance and data management. It requires a strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, DAMA for example) but equally strong proficiency in SQL querying language and creating dashboards with PowerBI.

We will consider non-local candidates but please note that this role with require a minimum of two days onsite in Madrid
