Data Platform Engineer (hybrid or remote)

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will help our customers develop and optimise their cloud platforms, enabling seamless integration, scalability, and automation. By leveraging Google Cloud technologies, you will deliver solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients and their business objectives. Establish team standards based on industry best practices and integrate them effectively into workflows and processes. Design and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform. Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and seamless application deployment. Establish and track data quality checks to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Address data quality issues quickly, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies. Share expertise and guide teams on best practices for infrastructure design and cloud operations. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and integration. Expertise in GCP services, including BigQuery, Compute Engine, IAM, GKE, and Cloud Monitoring. Proficiency in Java/Python & SQL for scripting and automation. Strong understanding of containerization technologies and Microservices architecture like Docker. Experience in security best practices for cloud infrastructure. Collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
