Data Scientist - French speaking

Data Scientist Consultant (French speaking) Newcastle / WFH to £70k

Do you have data science and data analytics experience combined with fluent English and French language skills?

You could be progressing your career at a top tier management consultancy who are expanding their presence in the North East.

As a Data Scientist / Consultant you'll focus on one project at a time, liaising closely with clients with a focus on French banking customers. You'll manage data projects end-to-end, gathering client requirements, managing data collection, model creation and analysis; you will conduct primary and secondary research, tackling information limitations, producing insights and overseeing the work of data analysts to ensure complete project deliverables to a high standard.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in Central Newcastle three days a week in a hybrid work from home model, please note you will also visit client sites occasionally (all travel and expenses fully paid).

About you:

You are degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in a relevant discipline, e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics or Engineering
You have fluent English and French language skills
You have experience with data analytics and data manipulation software e.g. R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL, SPSS
You take a consultative approach and have polished communication and stakeholder management skills
You're able to work independently and take ownership of projects end-to-end
You have experience of working in specialised consulting firms, top tier banking or financial institutions
