Data Storage Subject Matter Expert

Data Storage Subject Matter Expert (SC and NPPV3 Cleared) - 3 months Contract - £500/day via umbrella company - hybrid London - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking an experienced Data Storage Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will collaborate with various teams throughout the project life cycle and provide guidance on storage best practices.

Your responsibilities as a Data Storage Subject Matter Expert:

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions.
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of storage systems.
• Conduct storage assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate storage solutions into all project phases.
• Provide guidance on storage best practices.
• Create and update detailed storage documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD) and Deployment Guides.

As a suitable Data Storage Subject Matter Expert, you will have:

• Active SC and NPPV3 clearance
• Dell PowerStore: Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Dell PowerStore storage systems.
• Cisco MDS SAN: Managing Cisco MDS SAN environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Storage Skills: Extensive knowledge of enterprise storage principles, practices, and technologies.
• Relevant certifications (eg, Dell EMC Proven Professional, Cisco MDS Certified Specialist) are desirable.
• Experience in data centre storage management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
