Datacenter Network Engineer (Travels to Berlin)

We're looking for a Datacenter Network Engineer to support the delivery of a hybrid private cloud platform for the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and document data center networking environments.
• Automate network delivery using Scripting tools like Ansible and Python.
• Develop and execute Quality Assurance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and align processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for handover to operations.

Skills Needed:

• Expertise in datacenter networking (VLAN, MPLS, VPN) and protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, IPSec, DNS).
• Experience with network automation tools (Ansible) and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools like Juniper Apstra, Cisco ACI, Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
• Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Certifications: CCNP Enterprise & Datacenter (minimum), CCIE preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, Linux, VMware, and security standards (LDAP, OIDC, PKI).

Languages: Fluent in English (C1 minimum).

Location: Remote with monthly travels to Berlin (cost are covered)
