Description

This is a new exciting opportunity to join the Polo Delegated Authority Practice, a growing department within Polo Commercial Insurance Services. Based in our London office, the team offers specialist support to Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's clients through the provision of services, audit and consulting. The Delegated Authority Analyst will have exposure across the end-to-end delegated authority lifecycle along with client duties and collaboration with other Polo teams, including the Claims Practice. Key Responsibilities
  1. Co-ordinating Coverholder and Delegated Claim Administrator due diligence, ensuring that all files are complete and up to date.
  2. Assisting with the co-ordination of external audits and managing the process through to closure of audit findings.
  3. Liaising with insurers, Coverholders, audit firms and brokers to ensure that approvals and renewals are processed in line with SLAs.
  4. The preparation of renewal slips and endorsements.
  5. Production of reports and meeting packs.
  6. Reviewing reports and chasing of outstanding queries.
  7. Assisting with client proposals.
  8. Ensuring all activities are completed in line with client expectations, regulatory requirements and best practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  1. An entry level understanding of delegated authority or Lloyd's requirements.
  2. System savvy, preferably with knowledge of market systems including Atlas, DCOM, DAM, DDM, Crystal and Risk Locator.
  3. Attention to detail, excellent due diligence, and investigative skills.
  4. Strong analytical, written and communication skills.
  5. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business in a confident and professional manner.
  7. Commitment to complete the Chartered Insurance Institute exams to a minimum of Certificate level.
