Veritas Education is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Deputy Headteacher to join a forward-thinking primary school in Burnley. This is a permanent, full-time role, where the successful Deputy Headteacher will work alongside the Head to drive school improvement.

The Role & Responsibilities:

The successful Deputy Headteacher will:

1. Lead with integrity, creativity, resilience, and clarity, inspiring staff and pupils to achieve excellence.
2. Support and develop the school's inclusion strategy.
3. Have a secure knowledge of trauma-informed practice and use this to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
4. Inspire and support primary teachers, providing professional development opportunities and fostering a collaborative school culture.
5. Deputise for the Headteacher, confidently managing school operations and decision-making when required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A passion for meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to inclusive education.
A proven track record of raising achievement and developing confident, considerate, and resilient learners.
Experience as an effective leader, with the ability to motivate and inspire primary teachers and pupils.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
