Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Advanced degrees or certifications in renewable energy are a plus

Experience Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in designing and delivering solar PV and energy storage systems
• Proven expertise in integrating solar and energy storage solutions, with the ability to apply this knowledge across various projects
• In-depth understanding of electrical protection, earthing systems, and grid compliance requirements
• Advanced skills in navigating both local and international standards to ensure design safety and compliance
• Strong project management experience, with the ability to oversee all phases of a project, ensuring high-quality outcomes, on-time delivery, and successful completion

Responsibilities

• Lead system design: Develop electrical and mechanical designs for solar PV and BESS systems, specifically for low and medium-voltage applications
• Ensure compliance: Ensure all systems meet national and international regulatory standards, managing SAT/FAT processes to guarantee optimal system performance
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with project management, procurement, and operations teams to seamlessly move from design to deployment
• Create detailed engineering documentation: Oversee the creation and delivery of design specifications, reports, system layouts, and other technical documentation
• Innovate and stay ahead: Conduct ongoing industry research to keep our solutions cutting-edge, and apply the latest technologies and methodologies in your designs
