Job Title: Designer

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London

Job Summary

This role would suit an experienced Designer who is able to devise excellent creative designs and concepts for briefs, for print and digital formats. You should have a meticulous eye for detail and enjoy working on a diverse set of projects in a busy in-house creative team.

In early 2024 we refreshed our brand, and you will support the team with the continued rollout of these exciting changes. You will:

1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the Senior Designer, Studio Manager, Designer, Creative Artworker, and Copywriters on creative projects in the Studio.
2. Be committed to delivering inspiring designs that drive action, inform, and empower our varied audiences (including fundraising supporters, commercial B2B audiences, young people, and patients).
3. Ensure designs are on-brand, audience-centric, and informed by available insights.
4. Be innovative and creative in how we use the Anthony Nolan brand.
5. Work on a schedule of tasks allocated by our Studio Manager.
6. Retouch and edit photography.
7. Collaborate with external creative agencies, photographers, and videographers.
8. Be a champion for, and expert on, design, typography, and photography matters - contributing to the development of the visual identity and brand character for Anthony Nolan.
9. Support the Studio Manager and Creative Artworker with adding assets to our DAM and manage photography and media as required.
10. Support the Studio and Brand teams in the management of our self-serve template system, Bynder.
